1. Who We Are

SafeGuard PSM is a process safety management consulting firm. This Privacy Policy applies to the SafeGuard PSM website at safeguardpsm.com and the PSM Reg Lookup Chrome Extension published on the Chrome Web Store.

2. PSM Reg Lookup Chrome Extension

The PSM Reg Lookup extension provides offline access to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 regulation text, Letters of Interpretation, citation data, and CSB incident summaries.

Data we do NOT collect:

• No personal information (name, email, address, or identification numbers)
• No browsing history or web activity
• No data is transmitted to SafeGuard PSM servers or any third party

Local storage only: The extension saves your recent lookup history (last 10 lookups) and your highlight toggle preference to your browser's local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Permissions used:

• contextMenus — adds a right-click option to look up selected regulation text
• storage — saves recent lookups and preferences locally on your device
• activeTab — highlights regulation references on the current page when you enable the highlight toggle
• scripting — injects the highlighting script into the active tab
• host permissions (<all_urls>) — enables the right-click and highlight features to work on any webpage

3. Website

The SafeGuard PSM website does not use tracking cookies, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. If you submit a contact form, the information you provide (name, email, message) is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

4. No Data Sales or Transfers

SafeGuard PSM does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to any third party for any purpose, including advertising, analytics, or creditworthiness determination.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for professional use by EHS and process safety personnel. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
